Tobey Maguire

With an adorable baby face and a role as Spider-Man under his belt, it’s easy to believe that Tobey Maguire is one of the nicest and most humble celebrities in Hollywood. And while there’s no doubt about the fact that Tobey is a talented actor, those around him would say that he’s gotten too big for his boots. One woman realized this for herself when the actor offered her a $1,000 poker chip if she barked like a seal.

Those who have worked on-set with Tobey have also shared their own anecdotes of the diva-like actor. It’s been reported that extras and crew members aren’t allowed to look him in the eye and that they have to either call him “Tugboat Tobey” or “Tugboat Maguire.” All in all, reports suggest that this once-humble actor has since become “wrapped up in his own egotistical web.”

Jennifer Lopez

Back in the day, fans fell in love with “Jenny from the Block.” She just seemed like a regular woman who had used her talent to get to the top of the Hollywood ladder, and they loved to see her excel in the music and movie worlds. Hospitality workers don’t have anything good to say about him, either. One New York City restaurant worker stated that Tom banged on their closed restaurant door at 2 am and demanded food because “I’m Tom Cruise.”

Tyra Banks

There was once a time when Tyra Banks was one of the most in-demand models in the world. After being bullied for her looks as a child, Tyra really stuck it to the man when she forged an impressive career and then became the modeling world’s fairy godmother in the form of the television show America’s Next Top Model. And while this show and Tyra used to be iconic, they’ve both since suffered a fall from grace.

As the world has changed and become more progressive and ethical, it’s become clear to see that America’s Next Top Model was extremely problematic. While Tyra was previously praised for her “tough love,” it’s since been suggested that she ignored blatant bullying and racism, and would take part in harassment and discrimination herself on the show. Now, some fans can’t forgive her.

Zach Braff

When you think of Zach Braff, you probably think of the loveable goofball JD from Scrubs. And it’s fair to say that Zach has continued to play these kinds of characters later in his career, leaving many people to assume that he has the same kind of personality in real life. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be the case, as Zach reportedly refuses to work with anyone who is more good-looking than him.

That’s not his only demand, though. Zach will only drink coffee from a designated place of his choosing, and the person fetching his coffee must leave it outside his dressing room without interacting with him at all. The actor, who has a net worth of $22 million, also landed in hot water in 2013 when he started a Kickstarter to help fund his movie Wish I Was Here. Many fans thought this to be incredibly entitled.

Faye Dunaway

When you look back at Faye Dunaway’s professional life, it’s hard not to be impressed. She began her career in the 1960s, and since then she has starred in major movies like Mommie Dearest, Eyes of Laura Mars, and The Three Musketeers. However, those who have worked with Faye will probably agree with the rumors that she’s one of the most entitled people in Hollywood. Her behavior has even affected her career.

It’s been suggested that Faye has a very short fuse, and that this has caused major friction between her and the people she’s worked with. Her former co-star Rutanya Alda once suggested that “You can enter Faye Dunaway’s dressing room but first throw a raw steak in there to distract her.” But what has she actually done? Kanye West

Kanye West – who has since legally changed his name to Ye – has been on a whirlwind of a journey. During his early music career, Kanye wowed fans with his music and his creativity. However, love for Kanye has dwindled over the years. Now, most fans are concerned for his mental wellbeing and his “God Complex.” After all, Kanye himself has said that he is the “greatest artist” that God has ever created.

Support for Kanye started to wane when he stormed onstage at the 2009 VMA’s and insisted that Beyonce should have won the award given to Taylor Swift. Since then, his erratic behavior, his controversial Presidency run, his messy divorce from Kim Kardashian, and his uncomfortable and often threatening social media posts have led many to worry about the size of his ego and his mental health.

On the show, we saw her eating in a Michelin-star restaurant in London, before insulting the chef by stating that “I can’t eat this sh*t. Let’s just go up to my suite and order room service?” For some people, her all-natural lifestyle is just too obnoxious for them, and we don’t blame them.

Will Smith

Don’t get us wrong; the world will always have a soft spot for Will Smith. After rising to fame through The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, this actor and rapper was able to transition into the world of big Hollywood movies. Since then, he’s brought legendary movies to life… but he also seems to have let fame get to his head. This may have even started years, as it was recently discovered that Will was behind the firing of Janet Hubert, who played the original Vivian Banks in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

As well as ruining the career of a talented actress, Will has also been called out for the way that he talks about himself and his family. A few years ago, he told his son Jaden Smith that “Your father’s the biggest movie star in the world, and you’re struggling for your little piece of dignity in this extreme shadow.” Of course, Will also sticks up for his family… as seen by his controversial Oscar slap in March 2022. This incident did nothing to help his reputation.

Shannen Doherty

During the 1990s, Shannen Doherty was at the top of her game. She was a leading lady in shows and movies like Beverly Hills 90210, Charmed, Heathers, and Girls Just Want to Have Fun, and many assumed that she would go on to have an impressive career. And while she has continued to act, some have stated that her entitled ego has slowed it down. Did she get too big for her boots?

Over the years, Shannen has been called out for her diva behavior, and her former co-star Jason Priestley devoted a whole chapter in his memoir to it. He wrote that on one occasion he organized a car to drive her to the airport, but her response was” “Really? A town car? Keith confessed that Corden had been banned from his restaurant, and stated that “James Corden is a hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.” Apparently, Corden demanded free rounds of drinks when he spotted a hair in his food, and he repeatedly shouted at a server when her wife’s egg yolk omelet had some egg whites in it.

There was once a time when Justin Timberlake was considered to be the best thing since sliced bread. As a former member of one of the world’s most popular boy bands and a major player in popular culture, most fans wouldn’t hear a bad word said about JT. Not only has Rachael reportedly made some racially-charged remarks about Oprah, but her ego has also landed her in hot water with her family. Her family has publicly called her out for not attending her aunt’s funeral, and her father stated that it was “disappointing” when she conveniently forgot to invite him to a group trip to Italy for her 10th wedding anniversary. Has she forgotten her roots?

Ellen DeGeneres

Everyone knows who Ellen DeGeneres is, and everyone also knows that this celebrity has built her reputation on kindness, generosity, and funny and thought-provoking interviews. And while her rise to the top should certainly be commended, it’s no secret that Ellen has been involved in a serious fall from grace in the past year or so. Especially after it was rumored that he had cheated on his pregnant Victoria’s Secret model wife.

He’s known for his method acting and his dark and brooding personality, but it’s fair to say that Christian Bale isn’t known for his bedside manner. As someone who is wholly devoted to the acting side of his celebrity status, Christian reportedly struggles with fame – and many fans will attest to that. He’s reportedly extremely cruel to fans, to the point where he has reduced some to tears.

Bale’s former publicist wrote all about him in her tell-all book, and stated that Christian would be extremely rude to fans who would approach him for autographs or photos. He would “lecture little girls about being rude and intrusive” and he once even told one fan that he needed to have “a screwdriver thrust through the eyeball into the brain.”

Christina Aguilera

Starting her career in the early ’90s, Christina Aguilera has continued her musical reign and is now considered to be a legend. And while she has certainly earned the right to be proud of her career and her rise to the top, there are some who believe that her fame and fortune have taken over her ego. Now, she’s considered to be a huge diva, and there are receipts to back it up.

One source has stated that “I worked at a famous theme park in California. She was a total drama queen. She always had an entourage of like 20 people around her and she literally would go backstage to avoid crowds. Her entourage would go into shops and restaurants and be like, ‘I’ll pay later’ and take a bunch of shit. She would also yell at everyone if she didn’t get her way.”

Reese Witherspoon

For decades, Reese Witherspoon was America’s sweetheart. With her girl-next-door looks, her impressive acting talent, and her wholesome personality, it seemed as though she had everything going for her. And while there are some who still love the Legally Blonde actress, there are others who believe that fame has gone too much to her head. Especially after she got arrested.

When Reese and her husband were arrested for erratic driving in 2013, she hit the police officer with the words “Do you know my name? You’re about to find out who I am.” After the incident, a source told Star Magazine that “Reese is anything but sweet. The staff is terrified of rubbing her the wrong way, so they bend over backward to please her! She won’t ever take off her sunglasses because she doesn’t want anyone to make eye contact.”

Although he’s just 36 years old, Shia LaBeouf has decades of experience under his belt. He started his career when he was just a child, and he’s since been able to forge his own place in Hollywood. And while he has an impressive acting resume under his belt, Shia has found himself in hot water over the years. Not only has Shia’s ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit against him for physical and emotional abuse but he’s also been called out for his dangerous method acting, as well as his rude behavior with the paparazzi and the press. As if that wasn’t enough, in 2013 Shia was also accused of plagiarism when he thought he would get away with taking another person’s screenplay word-for-word and putting his name on it.

Olivia Wilde

A few years ago, Olivia Wilde was a relatively B-list celebrity who had a relatively impressive, but quiet, career. She kept under the radar and simply focused on her career. However, she’s since come out of the woodwork… and she’s faced the wrath of Hollywood at the same time. Right now, fans aren’t convinced that Olivia hasn’t let this fame get to her head. Especially since she started darting Harry Styles and released her movie Don’t Worry Darling.

The Don’t Worry Darling drama saw Olivia thrust into a whirlwind of remarks, lies, video evidence, and red-carpet controversy. Not only was Olivia called out for casting her boyfriend, Harry, as the lead actor in her movie (and reportedly paying him a huge amount more than the lead actress Florence Pugh), but she was then dragged for calling abusive sex scenes in the movie a chance for her to showcase “female hunger, and specifically this type of female pleasure.” 

Spike Lee

When it comes down to it, Spike Lee is a legendary force in Hollywood. Not only is he an actor, but he’s also an extremely talented writer and director with projects such as Malcolm X, Jungle Fever, and BlacKkKlansman to his name. But many believe that he’s become incredibly entitled over the years, and he’s become known for his rude behavior when it comes to meeting fans or just other people in general.

On one occasion, Spike was booked to talk at a university about his career, but he decided to cut his scheduled Q&A session short by 40 minutes just because he didn’t want to do it anymore. As if that wasn’t enough, he also stormed out of the 2019 Oscars when his film didn’t win the Best Picture award – despite the fact that he himself had already won the Best Director award for the same movie.

Johnny Depp

You probably expected this man to come up on this. Although Johnny Depp has a hugely impressive acting portfolio under his belt, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor has also come under a lot of scrutinies – largely thanks to his high-profile lawsuits against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Over the years, many people have suggested that Johnny has got too big for his boots, leading him into some controversial situations.

Although Johnny has always stayed relatively friendly with his fans, he has been called out for his altercations with movie crew members. Sources have stated that Johnny would refuse to learn his lines on set because he didn’t think he needed to, and instead he had to be fed his lines through an earpiece. As if that wasn’t enough, he was also called out for trashing a hotel room and causing $10,000 worth of damage back in the ’90s.

Ariana Grande

And while her character on the show was obviously entitled and rude, nobody expected Teri to be like that in real life. Then, rumors of her big ego made their way out of the woodwork.

According to reports, Teri was even causing chaos on the set of the show that made her famous. Her Desperate Housewives cast mates reportedly hated her, and one even stated that Teri was the “meanest woman in the world.” While filming Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997, Pierce Brosnan stated that Teri refused to show up to work on time and would just act like a total diva on set.

Chevy Chase

Known for his place in the comedy world, Chevy Chase will forever be remembered for projects such as National Lampoon, Saturday Night Live, The Chevy Chase Show, and Community. Yes, this comedian and actor has been able to stake his claim on Hollywood. And while nobody can doubt his talent, it seems as though many people have doubted his ever-growing ego.
